INTRO TO MEDITATION - FOR PARENTS, PARENTS-TO-BE, CAREGIVERS, ETC.
Parenting is hard work! Whether you are a parent, parent-to-be, a professional working with children, or just someone who wants to learn mindfulness practices, this workshop will teach you those valuable techniques to cultivate your own healthy self-care practice. In this workshop, you will also learn about the science behind meditation, fun & playful ways to practice mindfulness and meditation with your child(ren), and techniques to assist both parent & child in managing and regulating emotions. The benefits to a healthy mindfulness practice are immeasurable, but you expect this practice to help reduce stress levels, provide mindful approaches to parenting, strengthen intuition, build positive self-awareness & growth, and energize & clarify the body/mind/spirit. No previous experience with meditation is necessary.
